Han pasado dos años y nueve meses desde que salió el primer programa de “El Show de Analeh” por Canal 18 de Univision y ya son cinco años que su principal responsable, Ana Alfaro, ganó el Latino de Oro en su primera edición, en la Categoría de Ayuda a la Comunidad Latina. Ambos acontecimientos no solo tiene en común a la espigada y simpática hondureña, sino a la labor comunitaria que a través de los años viene realizando en Hartford y alrededores y al justo reconocimiento que le otorgó IDENTIDAD LATINA en el 2005.
Board Members and program participants from Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters recently took part in the filming of an episode of "The Analeh Show, the popular Spanish language public service broadcast that each week turns a reflective eye on the people, events and issues that significantly impact the state's rapidly growing Latino population.

As El Show de Analeh celebrates three years of connecting with Hispanic families in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, TV Host Ana Alfaro and production team are grateful for the solid partnership among Capital Community College Academic Media Technology, Communication Media Students, CH18 Univision and DMC Team to making of this production an incredible win-win fortune.
Today, El Show de Analeh, a dream production turned into a successful reality, continues to entertain and inform the Latino community of with an array of key and innovative topics which are welcomed every Saturday by a sophisticated and progressive audience.
Analeh shares special moments and conversation during Christmas with visual artist Imna Arroyo, currently a Professor of Art at Eastern Connecticut
State University. Her latest art work, Ancestors of the
Passage/Travesia Ancestral, is being exhibited at Lyman Allyn Art Museum through February 21, 2010.
Imna is the recipient of numerous awards including several professional development grants. In 2003, she received the Steinkraus-Cohen Memoral Outstanding Women of Connecticut Award, in recognition of achievements and dedication to public service. Lyman Allyn Art Museum is located at 625 Williams Street, New London, CT.
Behind the Scenes of Analeh Two years later, and thanks to a solid collaboration among Capital Community College Academic Media Technology, Communication Media Students and Analeh Television Productions, a local and vital television talk show continues to entertain and inform the Latino community of Central Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.
